Social Services Director

Desired Qualifications



  • Licensed Social Worker in Alabama (preferred)

  • Education in Social Sciences

  • Strong documentation, follow-up, and communication skills

  • Long-Term Care experience (preferred)


Essential Job Functions



  • Act as a liaison and representative of the resident s social interests and to assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Social Services department. In accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed as the administrator, to ensure that the medically related emotional and social services needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
