THIS IS A ROVING POSITION WORKING TWO DAYS IN GREENSBORO, TWO DAYS IN UNIONTOWN, AND ONE DAY IN DEMOPOLIS.
Summary of Position Duties
The Greensboro Business Office is looking for a highly dependable, self motivated individual who enjoys helping customers and working in a team environment. This position will serve as the initial contact with customers and is responsible for handling all customer transactions in a tactful and courteous manner. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, taking customer payments, processing service order requests, handling customer inquires, resolving billing issues, completing billing adjustments, issuing payment arrangements, and collections of both electric service and merchandise. Additional responsibilities include maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by Sarbanes Oxley, selling non-core products and services, and supporting appliance sales.
Job Experience and Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Proven customer service experience required
Prior experience working in a Business Office desired
Previous cash handling experience preferred
Computer experience using MS Word and the Windows environment required
Occasional emergency call-out required
Knowledge & Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to make decisions mutually beneficial to our customers and Company
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
